Professor Li Weiling, a member of Chinese Communist Party, got his doctor degree in RWTH Aachen University, he works as a professor and the asistant dean in College of Automation of Northwestern Polytechnical University. He also serves as the vice director of Shaanxi Aviation Electrical Systems Engineering Research Center.

Research Area: 

Electronic Power System, Aviation Intelligent Power Distribution Technology including solid state power controller and solid state breaker, which are designed on the base of the circuit topological structureof new type semiconductor power devices. 

Awards: 

Participated in Youth Talent Promotion Projectof China Association for Science and Technology in 2016. Generaldirector of the aviation electrical engineering committee of China Aviation Association, member of the editor team for CSEE Journal, Power System Protection & Control, and IET Power Electronics. He has publised more than 80 theses on IEEE Transand other academic journals. 20 theses are published in SCI and 40 theses are published in EI. He got 7 granted patents and published 1 monograph in English. He have participated in many projects, such as Aviation SAST Fund and Aviation Science Fund. His achivements are widely used in large transport plane and passenger plane(C919). The solid state power controller he researched has created about 300 million RMB output value for companies. 

He won the Fisrt Prize for Excellent Teaching Achivementand the honor of Outstanding Young Teacher of Northwestern Polytechnical University.
