The Xi'an Semiconductor Power Device Testing and Application Center, a provincial key laboratory of Semipower Technology, covers an area of 4,500 square meters. It currently possesses comprehensive testing capabilities for power MOSFETs, diodes, transistors, and IGBT single devices and modules. The center fully meets the testing requirements for automotive-grade power devices, full-parameter IGBT testing, and third-generation semiconductor devices (SiC and GaN). It is equipped with the capability for AECQ101 reliability assessment and failure analysis, making it a nationally CNAS-accredited laboratory with internationally advanced equipment, comprehensive testing capabilities, and extensive experimental data support in the field of semiconductor power devices in China.
In 2016, Semipower Technology established a wide-bandgap power research and development center and a new energy vehicle power control R & D center, dedicated to the research, development, and industrialization of domestically produced electric drive and control systems and components for the new energy vehicle industry. The innovation goal of these two R & D centers is to collaborate with Semipower Technology's power devices and related domestic component manufacturing enterprises to fully localize the existing three-electric systems (power supply, electric drive, and electric control) of new energy vehicles. The centers have already passed the IATF16949 automotive quality management system certification.
