Children, children in childhood, should be the treasures in the hands of parents. Childhood is beautiful, and children should be innocent, lively, and carefree.
Most of the more than 100 students in Dujia Primary School are looked after by their grandparents. Their parents moved to the city to work with family responsibilities and longing for the future, leaving behind young children and elderly people. Children cannot remember how long it has been since their parents touched their heads, held their hands, or given them a warm hug. The innocent children wish their parents could spend more time with them. Although we cannot replace the warmth of family affection given to our children by their parents, we are still working hard to make up for the lack of companionship that some children lack. Seeing the innocent smiles of the children makes us sincerely happy and the trip is worthwhile.
Occasionally seeing the poor environment and lack of supplies in Dujia Primary School, Semipower Chairman Mr. Luo Yi and Deputy General Manager Ms. Li Linfei organized a charity donation activity, hoping to help left-behind children learn better. I came here for the first time in November 2017 and brought school supplies and books to the children. On the afternoon of March 23, 2018, we came to Dujia Primary School, Daoxian Town, Fuping County, a school for left-behind children for the second time. At the beginning of the new semester, brand-new school uniforms, books, stationery and other learning and daily necessities were specially prepared, just to bring some help and care to the children.
The donation ceremony was held in front of the newly built teaching building of Dujia Primary School. The children happily sat in front of the stage. The lovely children expressed their warm welcome to our return in the form of poetry recitation, dance, sign language performance and other forms. One of the children said in the poem recitation, "When we grow up, we must contribute to society and build our beautiful motherland"!
Chairman Luo shared his childhood story with the children and told them that wearing school uniforms is to create an equal learning environment for everyone. He hoped that children can respect knowledge, respect teachers, respect classmates, study hard, and keep working hard. By interacting with the children by asking questions, the atmosphere at the scene reached a climax. The children's warm applause expressed their gratitude and confidence in the future. Later, Chairman Luo and Mr. Li handed over the new school uniforms and school supplies to the students. The bright smiles on their faces were the best thank you to everyone!
Principal Mr. Zhang Shuangjian, on behalf of all the teachers and students of the school, expressed his gratitude to Semipower for coming to the school for its love again. Principal Lu Xudong of Daoxian Town Central School and Director Li Buxiao of Dujia Primary School presented the company with a banner in return, praising the love of Semipower people. Semipower's charitable act has brought a lot of help to Dujia Primary School and brought more resources to the children. He hopes that the children will follow the example of the caring people of Semipower, study hard and do a good job in relaying love!
