2014 China Semiconductor Power Device High Reliability Technology Seminar Was Held Grandly

The "2014 China Semiconductor Power Device High Reliability Technology Seminar" was hosted by the Discrete Device Branch of the China Semiconductor Enterprises Association and jointly organized by the Shaanxi Semiconductor Industry Association, Xi'an High-tech Enterprise Association and Xi'an Semipower Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. on November 27, 2014 On the 28th, it was held grandly at the Zhongxing Hetai Hotel in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province.

Mr. Chen Xian, Vice Chairman of China Semiconductor Industry Association, Mr. Qiu Yilu, Chairman of Shaanxi Semiconductor Industry Association, Mr. Liu Minghua, Chairman of Xi'an High-tech Zone High-tech Enterprise Association, and Mr. Gao Jiping, Deputy Director of Xi'an Science and Technology Bureau respectively delivered opening speeches for the conference.

At the seminar, experts discussed the design requirements and production control of new material devices, the advantages and disadvantages of new products and process difficulties, the current status of the domestic IGBT industry and the key technical challenges faced, and the best design of customer application solutions that can effectively shorten the power supply design cycle and cost. Professional speeches were given on key issues and hot topics such as the latest advanced detection methods of power devices and so on. During the discussion session of the meeting, all participants spoke enthusiastically. Through interactions with the most well-known companies in the power supply industry, everyone learned about the parameter requirements and reliability indicators of semiconductor power devices in high-reliability power systems; through lectures by well-known domestic and foreign semiconductor power device experts, they learned the design and development of high-reliability semiconductor devices. Process control methods; and the participation from domestic semiconductor wafer and packaging factories enabled participants to understand the development level of domestic power device manufacturing. During the meeting, senior management of the company had a full exchange of ideas, made an outlook on the future of the industry, and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
