On February 17, Semipower was invited to participate in the founding meeting of the "Third Generation Semiconductor Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance" (CASA) Standardization Committee, and became an observation member of the CASA Standardization Committee, and also joined the "Third Generation Semiconductor Device Testing" working group. The "Third Generation Semiconductor Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance" was established in September 2015 with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, among 45 related scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, and leading enterprises in the third generation semiconductor industry. A new cooperative organization jointly established by several units, it has developed into an influential industry alliance organization in the semiconductor industry. This meeting was held on the basis of the preliminary preparations for the alliance to better implement relevant work. Academician Gan Zizhao of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Sha Nansheng, researcher Li Zhinong of the High-tech Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Director Cai Shujun of the 13th Institute, Professor Sheng Kuang of Zhejiang University and other expert leaders attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Mr. Yang Qingyu communicated with participating experts on semiconductor device standards, and joined the third-generation semiconductor device standard preparation group on behalf of Semipower.
